Green Street Hooligans = Real?

Okay I will admit that I liked the movie Green Street Hooligans, even though Frodo was about as far away from conviencing as could be in the film, but it appears it might have a lot of truth to it now.
The Football Association is holding talks with West Ham, Millwall, the Football League and the Metropolitan police as it begins to gather information relating to the violent scenes inside and outside Upton Park that marred last night's Carling Cup tie at the Boleyn Ground.Write up from the Guardian

Scouser Trash...
Labels: Soccer 0 commentsIt is sad that a radio show that I normally would grab their podcast has gone off the air. The founder and host of the show had his step children threatened by f'n Liverpool fans over the last 5 months, so he pulled it. All of this has to do with the host taking a point a little far about the Hillbourgh tragedy where 96 fans were killed, and stating that the scousers were at least partially to blame... and now no-one gets the best daily show about soccer... So thanks you scouser trash.
R.I.P. World Soccer Daily, I'll miss listening to you during the long day's in my cube.

The linux experiment never got off the ground, the machine is a piece of poop and I'm on the search for a new machine I can easily put her Blue Clues game on as well as limit the web browsing to places like Sesame Street, Disney and Nickelodeon... oh and how could I forget Noggin... that girls loves her some Noggin.
I do however have a new machine to add to the fold, but I'm afraid I won't get time to play with it until the office to completely redone, we have a contractor on the hook to do the ceiling and I think we have a color set for the room... now the question is how do I work in some nice built in shelving units that we can store our mountains of books in nicely.

Mid Week Haze...
Labels: RiotGeekery 0 commentsIt's the middle of the week and I'm fighting the urge to take a nap here at my desk, which seems to be possible at times if you take queues from some people that work here...
It's about time to take a big financial change, yes it involved more automation in our monthly finances. Something that will put it out of site and out of mind. I still haven't completely figured out if this is going to be the full deal just yet, but it's the start of it... once I get the basic's that are always the same automated, it will take a huge amount of the stress out of my life. Just to know the majority of the bills are being paid on time and I don't have to interact with it monthly (unless something goes wrong) then I will have a huge amount off my stress plate.
Next up! More Recycling this weekend, and I need to decide what to do about the giant stump in my front yard, thank you mother nature for ridding us of that Bradford Pear that you apparently hated so much you killed half of it with an ice storm and then the May tornado that made sure it was gone... and partially in our neighbors yard.
