Things are starting to work out pretty well, Mike (Whitenoize) and I have a ton of the same ideas as far as how to keep the house, I mean we don't want the frat house, it doesn't have to be the cleanest place or most organized, but much better than back int he college days. I'm 31 years old for god's sake.

I'm looking around to buy a new office desk, I need something like an L shape, or multiple pieces that can fit into that shape, its only slightly making me crazy, I found a really nice set, I just can't pull the trigger on buying it at the moment, I'm a wuss on some things. Oh well... back to work I guess...

Okay, Okay, so I haven't been writing in a bit, stressful times... My girlfriend of 6 years moved out this weekend, any I helped my best friend move in after he and his soon to be former wife, well... to be redundant are getting a divorce... Lots to do, lots to have my mind on, and well not really near a computer to write anything atleast all weekend.
My life just keeps getting more and more interesting as the day's go by... work is okay, stressful at time, but its supposed to be, its work. My personal life is weird to say the least, I haven't played EQ in awhile, my house got turned upside down because of the moving... I'm not one of those people to just site back and "take my time" doing much, I tend to dive in and go all out to get it done, and in the case of the huge house I live in its been difficult to get things together after she moved out. But I'm working on it.

Well I guess there will be more later, I have some mails to attend to at the moment... amazing how not checking your mail for 2 days can generate soo much in your inbox. I couldn't imagine leaving it for a week... I had 1000+ mails this morning, 500 mails a day is what that works out to... ugh...

So here is the deal, I think its really hitting me that Christy is moving out, she has been packing for several days, and getting stuff ready to go, but today when I found out she is starting to take stuff over to her house it really hit me... Out of all of it I'm gonna miss my dogs like crazy, I'm getting depressed just thinking about not seeing my dogs anymore... I don't know what I'm going to do from here on out.

By the way, this could get interesting... check it out, and wait for chapters to start coming out. I know I'm gonna be reading it.

Building the AntiChrist

Well I'm off to watch the last 2 episodes of Black Adder in the set, but I did see one more DVD set that is a must have in my collection, the Young Ones this will be mine... yessss..... it will....

I have already gotten more done today at the office than I have in weeks. The day started out with the doom of the boss calling everyone into meetings, which is always a bad sign, but apparently he got all of the yelling out of the way before he got to me.

Oh ya and I found this again today , Excuse List , always good for a cuckle or eight.

Ah, a lovely weekend in which I have already picked up my office, gone to Costco, and gotten my hair cut.... Plus I'm starting to try and get my finances in some sort of order, next weekend I help Christy to move out, and help Mike to move in... its going to be a long long long weekend, so I'd better get my relaxing in now before I don't have a couple of weeks of it.

We didn't go play golf last night after all, we just bought some beer, and went and ate Sushi... too much beer all in all.... but it was fun.

Okay so I went ahead and upgraded to mozilla 1.02 or so, and guess what... it no longer breaks my site with the table problems I spent way to long being frustrated over, the only thing I see right off the bat that it doesn't do right is the fixed background in my iframe, but I can live with that.

So today has been alright, in fact I'm not nearly as annoyed with my life as I am normally. And since Blogbot works I'm all the more happier, makes it a ton easier to write to my blog from here than upgrading my browser on my Linux boxen... I'm just not in the mood today at all.

On a side note, its golf night!!!! Time to go crack the always funny when your playing golf CaddyShack jokes, and drink a beer or 2 afterward... then go get Sushi and drink way too many big ass'd Sapporo's....

Testing the old BlogBot again, want to see if it will still post correctly since I'm not in the mood to upgrade my Linux browser to Mozilla release 1... I'm kinda lazy today.

Okay so I put back in my random quote dealio, I had to go find some new quotes, and take out the long ones it was shoving tables around like a drunk Italian at a New Years party, (thats not really a joke, I've been to an Italian New Years several times)... Now lets see if it helps in getting my damned ping working again, and maybe get a few more eye balls on this page... well... not that I'm wanting more eyes on it... but... I'm lonely...

I am finding it more and more comfortable with the situation I'm in, and is that a good thing? My girlfriend and I are moving away from one another, and it doesn't seem that bad in fact... I'll be romming with my best friend, kinda living some of that world I seem to of missed out on since I always seem to have long term relationships, not that I'm going to run out with any one, but I'll feel more comfortable staying up late, working on new ideas til the wee hours of the morning, and well.. .not to be really friggin geek, but I'll be able to play EQ to the wee hours of the morning, and run out to the Wendy's drive thru at 1am... (since there is a new Wendy's that just opened really close by... woot!).

I dunno, its a weird situation, weird times for sure.

Ever had those day's where everything kinda blows, then it slowly starts getting better? Well today was for sure one of those...... It started out and I was still pretty depressed about life in general, and as it moved along things have gotten better. We shall see how the days get better and better as this month moves along.

Well time to go watch some more Black Adder, and get some sleep.

Well my life has taken quite the turn as of late.... My girlfriend of about 6 years now has decided to test her independance, and move out.... Which doesn't sit well with me at all, but given the issues we have had and have been welling up over the last few years its probably for the best. Everyone I know has said something to the effect of "I could have sworn you two would have gotten married" well folks I'm here to tell ya that its not gonna happen, not today, and not tommorrow... who really knows what the future holds right? So in all this focus on my problems, my bestest bud in the world is also going through what I could consider to be much worse... he is in the up-hill of a divorce that is so far going pretty well... so now I have a roomate! So in a could of weeks Christy is moving out and Mike is more than likely moving in, have to figure out what all is staying and what all is going, but thats for another day... I do know one thing for sure.... I'm gonna miss my dog's a HUGE amount.... all my girls are leaving. But this moving out stuff is not really a goodbye forever (atleast at this point) I think I'll be able to go visit my little girls once in awhile.

Well I'm all ready for tommorrow morning, NFL starts! Don't ask why, and I know I'm alittle weird, being a computer geek that likes certain sports, but I do.... it seems to me its only the sports that involve contact, football, and hockey are my 2 fav's. I never have been a big fan of watching baseball on TV, and basketball, plus I'm not really into college sports either. Yup, I'm an oddity in my little world...

Oh, I've been watching BlackAdder lately, (I got my DVD sets) and its the greatest! I love this series, if you haven't ever seen it before, I highly recommend it, honestly I don't remember what channel I first saw it on, bot it was years ago, and it stars Rowan Atkinson, which I know most of you remember as Mr. Bean. And I got reminded of another great british series the other day that I want to track down.... the Young Ones... Oh man, I have to find that somewhere... I remember watching that in High School, on Sunday nights when MTV was fun to watch.

Man o Man, you ever find yourself over complicating something that you have been thinking about for a long ass'd time? I tend to do that consistantly, the longer I think about it, the more over-complicated it all becomes. The funny thing about it all is that its a simple project for work, that I have been thinking about for a long time, (we are talking about a month) and when I finally started it, well lets just say that my brain damage took over at the office, I got overwhelmed by the number of things that I have to get done... So when I got home, I turned on the first NFL game of the season with my wireless laptop going in my lap, pulled up a terminal, and started re-writing everything I did today... an hour later I have a fully functional program that is completely different than the original idea I had, but it gets the job done really well, and really fast. Sometimes my brain damage takes over and I have to get away from it all, to a comfortable place to really get things done.

My Brain Damage seeps into way to much of my life... but atleast I know it does, just one more step to changing my ways... old dog... new tricks... it can be done.

Well, I know of two things with Blogger at the moment that are just annoying, 1) Pinging Weblogs ain't happening, even though its on... 2) First time I publish it breaks with some ftp error, then the second time it works... just annoying. The Shining remake on Sci-Fi was pretty well done actually, just watched the end tonite.... And the NFL starts tommorrow!!! Weeeeee! Another season of me sitting on the couch every sunday non-stop... thank god for Direct TV's Sunday Ticket, up-to 14 games every Sunday for me to scan through, and look for the good games... no more just watching whats on because its the only game they are showing...

Oh well.. off to sleep time...

Well, I'm taking the big leap at work today, I found myself buying my own PC to work on because my laptop was just to old to hang with everything I needed to do, so I took the head first dive and bought a nice Vaio from the GeekDome known as Fry's awhile back... well yesterday my buddy whom I work with bought a REALLY nice laptop, which he decided right off the bat he was going to bring it to work, and use it as his portable workstation, thusly he dumped his PC at work... so I quickly snatched it up, and here is the kicker... Its all Linux, no more Windoze for me at work, not gonna do it... This is exactly what I needed, I have my Linux boxen at the house, but I have the Windoze Laziness bug, and haven't really been messing in my enviroment in awhile... this will force me too.

As for my next project, I'm still looking around to see if I can completely setup my laptop as a Linux boxen.... But my stumbling point at the moment is that its all wireless now, and I want to make for damn sure that it stays that way. 802.11b is the greatest thing since the scroll wheel on the mouse in my book. I can play DVD's, I can do just about everything.... just the wireless PCMCIA card, thats the only obstacle at the moment.

Oh ya and I finally upgraded my cel phone over the weekend, weeeeeeee.... Nokia 8260, this thing is the greatest, and apparently ATT Wireless got the permission to put up 700 new cel towers in So Cal... now if its just down the street that would ROCK! (My cel sucks arse at my house). The infra-red on the side syncs with my Visor like a champ, I can do the whole MLife dealio with it now... time to go find a fun ring tone for it... go watch another episode of Season 1 X-Files, and go to bed.... ahhh its a hard life.

Does it scare anyone else that China has decided to censor the web to its COUNTRY? It was reported on SlashDot that they just started filters Google from its routing.... maybe its because those crafty Chinese figured out that they can use the Cache feature to check out websites that China had already banned? Well thats my theory, and by the way, I love that feature...

Ah.... after a wonderful long weekend tis time for all good worker bee's to be going back to the hive in the morning.... I'd better sleep some tonite.

Okay so now its September, and its hot as hell in the Valley.... melt your brain hot.... I hate hot......

Well I haven't been the greatest blogger for awhile, but I'm getting it into my head that this can be cathartic, and it should be done... So I'm sitting on my couch at the moment with the Mystery Channels Night Gallery marathon going strong, listening to my bearded dragons scoot around the cage trying to get to the soul surviving cricket which has quite handily hidden itself under a log in their cage... I have a feeling that soon I will have to go scoot that little bugger out of his hiding place...ohh wait... no pun intended... really.

Oh well, back to vegetating for a bit, I just did some major cleaning of the living areas today, this is actually the first time I've turned on a computer all day, I like days like this. Leonard Nimoy episode of Night Gallery... craziness....
