Arrrrgggghhhh, I hate the winds out here, this time of year has always been an issue with my allergies, add on top of that the winds blowing (apparently up to 77 MPH not to far away from me yesterday) constantly, and it all adds up to me having the sniffles... I hate that. I have about 20 hours of work ahead of me to deal with in the next 5 hours so I'm not posting for awhile... but I shall return!

You know what I love/hate about the United States of America? Stupid White Men is the reason... everyone can have an opinion, and some can even get them published.

I'm completely Linux now on my laptop, I went out and bought a bigger harddrive, and a copy of RedHat 8.0 and its been great. I have been using my laptop more than any other machine in the house. Its runs sooooo much better than the install of Windoze that was on it I'd say it has improved atleast 50% in its performance. Pretty nice all in all... a buddy also show'd me RedCarpet from Ximan, I've been using Evolution for awhile, and really like it, but RedCarpet takes the cake... its takes a ton of work out of making sure your machine is up to date, and you don't have to use the intrusive RedHat auto-update stuff... I've always hated that. Check it out RedCarpet.

So I guess I'm an official corperate jocky now... I went out yesterday and spent way to much cash on 2 suits... Well, atleast I know I'll only have to wear them at major meetings, and all the rest of the time its comfy cloths. Oh well.. such is life, and the world of chasing a dream.

Man o Man! I had a ball yesterday, funny how business can be fun! Then again my new partner in crime is probably one of the greatest characters I have ever known, by the way he is my business partner. He got a car yesterday and came by to pick me up, and we did the rounds all day, we talked to a ton of people, and along the way we found a liqour store that sells my favorite Irish Whiskey in the world, "John Powers"..... Oh my... needless to say it was Aspirin and lots of water time before I finally fell asleep last night. Well back to the real world for the moment...

Watch this train go flying down the track! Seems at times like we are quickly laying down the track right in front of the train as it it steaming ahead... funky mental picture with that. Found out yesterday on our roving band of meetings that I'm being asked to goto Tokyo in the next 30 days or so, I'm all excited about that, should be a ton of fun! Being that mosst of my travel has in fact been inside the U.S. with occasional trips to Mexico, or Canada, it really adds a ton to the excitment factor. But anyways, I have some stuff to jump on really quick, and a possible meeting in the next couple of hours, so I'm off for now.

Well, this week so far has been crazy! Its amazing actually... I'm busy, I'm excited, and actually happy about most things in my life at the moment. its pretty amazing all in all. I have a huge meeting coming up early next week, which will be pretty wild, I'm gonna have to *gasp* go get a hair cut, and prolly go buy a couple of decent suit's over the weekend, (3day Suit Broker here I come).

So I'm sitting here watching Sum of All Fears at the moment, and watched Reign of Fire last night, after all the crap I talked about the premise of this film when it was in the theaters (which was what? a week two?) I have to admit it was okay, it wasn't the greatest film (at the moment that one is on the new extended Lord of the Rings) but it wasn't a bad film. The dragon effects were incredible honestly.

I've been on a movie kick lately, I pop'd in Real Genius today while banging away at the keyboard, and on phone calls, I still to this day love that movie... and I'm not sure why.

Its been forever since I blog'd, so I guess I'd better catch up on what's been going on. Well I was effectively un-employed for awhile, living off Ramen, and loose change gets you in the mood to not do much of anything, at least productive. But things have started going in my favor once again, as far as work related I'm on the verge of something I never thought would happen, for those that know me and know my work history you may put the dots together, a former company I worked for is on the move once again after changing things around to the point that I'm jumping back on board. This time hopefully the ship will be afloat in the right direction.

Ummmm, trying to think of anything else that's been going on lately, I should probably work on the image gallery stuff soon, at least have something simple to dump pics' up on the site... hrmmm maybe I'll start on that now just to knock the rust off my PHP-Foo.

Well I'll try and keep this updated more often.... but then again I've said that before.
