The Warped Tour was a ton of fun, I was very happy to see Bad Religion, the Vandals (who didn't play my song, but we did get I've got an Ape Drape which was worth it), and Flogging Molly who I was very happy to see had one of the larger crowds and it seemed that a ton of people knew the words... And amidst all of the Simple Plan / New Found Glory Sucks chants and posters, and t-shirts, it was great to see Molly get some attention. Oh and the Vandals gave us a cover of a Queen tune which cracked me up! Oh and Yellowcard was pretty cool as well.

On the flip side I'm completely dumbfounded by the person with a mow-hawk and wearing Birkinstock's... I mean there has to be a fight brewing around thier mid-section right? This is something I never.. ever... ever thought I would see in my life...

I did however get some sun... well on the parts that weren't slathered in sunscreen... so the backs of my hands look like a lobster right out of the pot. Oh well at the very least it's not like the last burn I got at that venue... 1991 LolaPalooza I... that is the kind of sun-burn pain you never forget, and I'm sure one day it will get passed along to my children... I can hear it now.

Me : I remember way back in 91 watching the Rollin's Band, Janes, and the Butthole Surfers I got the most gawd-aweful sun burn...

Child-Thing : 91? Wow! That *was* a long time ago... Who are those bands dad?

Me : Shut it kid... now when you go out to this outdoor fetival make sure and keep your shirt on and wear sun-screen... I'd say SPF 8000 just to be safe...

Child-Thing : Okay Dad, I'll do that... can I have some cash? I need to by my reunion tour shirt for the New Kids on the Block.

Me : .... has a massive coranary....

I have some pic's that I'll bust out tonite probably.
