Reading Is Fun!
Well once again I am reminded why I don't blog that often anymore. All I have to say about it is, get the fuck over yourself.

On that note, I was listening to NPR last night and one of the segments really brought the Middle-East into an entirely new light for me. They were talking about how Muslims are now becoming educated and reading the Koran for themselves, and learning more about the entire teachings. Unlike in the past where Priests who were educated would hand out what they believed to the masses, and the masses not knowing any better would follow the Priest. You know this just makes me want to find more about how Christianity had to of gone through this time period you know, the educated priests reading the Bible and handing what they believed to the un-educated masses. You know it had to of happened. And I'd imagine that it still happens to this day, but it really made me stop and think about why the religious sects are fighting beyond just the "we believe this way, and you are wrong" stuff, some of it has to deal with the control one sect or another once had that is slipping because of education... really interesting food for thought.

This Is News?
You know in my 35 years of life on this planet I guess I have spent a lot of time ignoring politics and the news in general. I guess I just liked my own little world and figured that I could avoid all these things that make me crazy.

But I think the time has come that I have been pushed to pay attention.

First off who the fuck cares about Madonna adopting a child? I mean really? What in the hell is the big deal about this washed up old dishrag taking a child out of a third world country and giving him a home, which is more than likely a hell of a lot better than my home and dare I say yours too?
